Francis Crick and James Watson
Francis and James were the two scientists who discovered DNA in 1953.
Francis
He was born on June 8th, 1916 in
Northamton, England. In 1949 he went
to Cambridge. During the years of 1953-54
he went to the states to do lectures. Two years

He was born on April, 6th in Chicago, Ill. In
1943 he went to the University of Chicago. In
1950-51 he spent his first postdoctoral year
in Copenhagen. In 1951 he saw the x-ray diffraction
pattern of DNA. This was the time where he met
Crick and two years later they discovered DNA.
